Our external balustrades and guard rails, which are designed to meet the needs of a modern architectural style, generally consist of a tubular hand rail approximately 40 mm in diameter tgether with rails or bars running parallel to the hand rail.
These rails can be made from various materials such as 12 or 14 mm diameter bars or stainless steel cables, etc. The balusters also come in various forms, such as round or square tubes or single or double flats, providing numerous design alternatives. The section of the spindles is reduced at their connection to the handrail to avoid large joints which could be unsightly.
The different materials we use also give us great creative freedom . Our balustrades and guard rails are made either from stainless steel or mild steel, or a combination of these. After receiving a sprayed anti-corrosion coating of ZN 80 zinc, the balustrade and guard rail elements then always pass through the paint booth where they receive an enamel paint finishing coat.
